Stage II

Stage II refers to small companies with that are cash-flow positive and have potential for fast and significant growth.  It is a category used by the Edward Lowe Foundation of Michigan.  These companies still have a thin management team and may be led by a founder.  Coaching and staff support help CEOs of Stage II companies move up to the next stage.  Venture Isles has a role to play in IP strategy, business development, licensing, seeking government capital, searching for technology solutions and negotiating licenses to gain freedom-to-operate.

Venture Isles has been selected by the Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development (DEED) to assist Minnesota based companies to prepare a Stage II commercialization plan.  This section of the grant application is heavily weighted by grant decision-makers.
