Clyde Hanson

Venture Isles delivers service to its clients through a talented, smart and experienced team of independent professionals from around the globe. Clyde Hanson is the Managing Director of Venture Isles, LLC.

Entrepreneur Hanson founded his second company in 1995 and changed its focus and name to Venture Isles in 2008. Hanson started his marketing career while still in graduate school when he published reference books and sold them by direct mail and magazine advertising. One of the magazines recruited him so he changed careers from city planning to marketing and never looked back.

He became a rising star in one of the largest integrated marketing agencies in the world. There he built a multi-industry track record of success in moving consumer and business-to-business products and services through retail, independent distributors, and direct response media.

Many clients have benefited from his evidence-based marketing know-how learned by risking his own money to grow his first company. He balances left-brained analysis and statistics with right-brained creativity and synthesis. He is well known for making connections and seeing patterns, and "dead reckoning" when data is thin or when decisions have to be made on the fly.

Hanson is a lifelong learner. Some milestones:

  • University of St. Thomas, Opus School of Business, MBA 4.0 GPA
  • University of Iowa, MA Urban & Regional Planning
  • University of Minnesota, BS Urban Studies

Hanson is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Lake Superior Angels Network. Hanson is the author of The Intellectual Property Marketeer blog.
